Howdy!
Thought I would kick start my blog posts here with a quick hello and how do you do! My name is Charles Mihm, and I am the Product Manager for WebPAC and various add-ons to that product. I think to put it best, I would say I am a hard core web dork.
I do web design in my free time, I read W3C specs for fun, I practice JavaScript Fu, I socially compute, I read more blogs than I should, and I try mightily to keep ahead of the curve of web happenings. By no means do I fully accomplish this feat, but in general you can usually count on me to have heard the rumblings of the “next cool thing” that is coming on the web.
I will be posting here quite frequently. I am going to try to do column style posts. Two Fridays a month I will post a “Friday Five” where I will list five (or so) things that I find useful or of interest. Most of the time these will refer to web development or design, but on occasion I may throw a curveball into the mix to keep it interesting.
I will also be doing some spotlight posts highlighting useful tools or things on the web, as well as the occasional book review. I will mainly focus on design and tech books, but who knows I might add some other stuff too (no man lives by tech manuals alone, you must also have Sci-Fi!).
